Hi, I’m Shari—a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and families move through life’s toughest seasons with strength, support, and a sense of hope. I’m here for the people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or lost—and I’m passionate about creating a space where healing feels possible again.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, advocacy, and collaboration. For over 15 years, I served as a Police Social Worker with the Northbrook Police Department, providing crisis intervention, trauma counseling, and victim support for children, adults, and families. I worked hand-in-hand with law enforcement, schools, hospitals, and community agencies to respond to mental health crises and help people get connected to life-saving resources. Before that, I spent a decade doing similar work at the Evanston Police Department, where I also trained officers and developed prevention programs to support victims and families.
I’ve seen firsthand how resilience can grow in the most unexpected places—and my goal in therapy is to help you tap into that inner strength. Whether you’re navigating trauma, family conflict, legal stress, or just trying to breathe a little easier in your daily life, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and care.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, connecting with the community, and staying grounded in the things that remind me why this work matters so much.
